Bruichladdich Port Charlotte offers a delightful mix of stone fruit, sweet hay, balanced smoke, and a symphony of flavors including apricots, cinnamon, smoked meats, and brininess. The experience is intensified by the bold peat character, saltiness, and hints of black licorice. This heavily peated Islay single malt whisky is well-balanced, providing a controlled firework show of flavors. Priced affordably, it offers a complex sensory experience with layers of peat, earthiness, citrus, honey, and savory notes, making it a must-try for Islay whisky enthusiasts.

Really nicely sweet, apricots, smoke, smoked meats, smoked pork, brininess on the back end. If you have the $100 to $200 to spend on whiskies, these are great ways to do it.

It is sweet, savory, and salty. It is a really nice whisky at a very affordable price.

It's like a thick layer of rubbery peat, that's just right there, it's just unmissable. It's worth every second of that 18 years in a barrel. When that's the quality, that's the time, you take the quality, you take every penny of that £325 to buy those two bottles.
Whisky Neighbour
I actually find the spirit in here quite light, gently fruity, a little bit of citrus, honey, cereal sweetness. I obviously like this Scotch.
CreamSpinachYo
Smells fantastic. I really don't want to use another Scotch to figure out the smell of a scotch but if you had Ardbeg 12, smells very close to that except more peaty. If you want to stop watching this review right now, they've only made 24,000 of these. Stop f***ing watching this and buy some right now. That's how good this is.

The peat for me is actually not all that smoky, it is smoky but what's really coming out is more of the earthy quality of this peat. $75 plus tax, it's a solid value.

Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Islay Barley & Octomore 6.3 Reviewed
What a whiskey! This 6.3 is ridiculous, peaches, apricots, cream, cinnamon, smoke, smoked meats, smoked pork, brine coming through.

Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky
An absolutely fantastic whisky. I would take this before the Bowmore 18 year old without a doubt.

Episode 7: Bruichladdich 18 vs Port Charlotte 18. First review
It's almost like the Champions League final, someone's got to win, someone's got to lose, but they're both two amazing teams.

Whisky Review #27: Port Charlotte 10 | 50% | Looking for more improvement from Bruichladdich!
I'm really enjoying that overall complexity, not just in flavors but in particular the sensations.
